Summary
A cardboard box of cardboard money consisting of five half crowns; five two-shilling coins; five one shilling coins; eight half penny coins; six old penny coins; eight half penny coins; and six farthings. All the above are dated 1937. There is also one three pence dated 1912. There are three 'School Bank' notes, one of one pound and two of ten shillings each. A label on the box lid reads 'H.D. Parker, Kindergarten Material. K.G. S2 Money, The Educational Supply Association, Ltd. 181, High Holborn, London W.C.1'. The inscription on the ten shilling note reads 'School Bank For Instruction Only Representing Ten Shillings 10 - Half Sovereign'. The inscription on the one pound note reads 'School Bank For Instruction Only Representing One Pound 1 One Sovereign'. Total number of items is 51.
