Summary
A child's size reduced version of a 'smoker's bow' or 'captain's' chair, possibly from the second half of the 19th century. The chair is wooden and the seat is probably made from elm and the arms from ash. The chair with turned legs and a turned H shaped stretcher. Six turned spindles support the curved arms which end in scrolls. Nailed to the top of the arms is a shaped back rest. The chair also has a shaped seat.
