Summary
A bisque-headed doll with a cloth body, bisque lower legs and feet, and bisque arms and hands. She has painted facial features, open and shut eyes, and mohair hair in two plaits, one tied with a white ribbon. She is dressed in a lilac crepe dress decorated with bands of purple velvet and lace at the neck and cuffs. Over it is a white cotton pinafore edged with lace and five pin tucks at the hem. There is also a white outer petticoat edged with lace and a single pin tuck. She wears a cream flannel half-petticoat and, underneath, a white cotton petticoat. Under these are white cotton drawers edged with lace. On her head is a straw hat, the brim lined with net, with a grey petersham band around the crown. The hat is held on with elastic. A label attached to her left leg reads 'Flossie c.1890'.
