Summary
A bisque-headed baby doll with open and shut eyes, an open mouth showing teeth and the tongue. It has painted facial features and painted black hair. It has a composition body, moveable arms and legs, and separate toes and fingers (several fingers have been repaired). It has a cracked leg and a worn body. The doll is wearing a cream jersey vest bound with tape and tied at the shoulders, a pink brocade short sleeved tunic with silver lame trim at the sleeve edges, and pink brocade trousers with silver lame cuffs. The doll was probably made by J D Kestner, circa 1915.
