Summary
A child's size, reduced version of a late 19th or early 20th century 'hooped-back' or 'wheel-back' wooden dining chair. The chair has beech H shaped stretcher, an elm seat and a hooped-back with four spindles and a decorative carved central splat with a wheel motif. It is possible that this chair was made in the East Midlands as the design is typical of this region.
