Summary
A Pierotti-type poured wax doll with a wax head, shoulders, forearms, hands, lower legs and feet. She has a stuffed cloth body, upper arms, and upper legs. On her head is mohair ginger hair. She has painted facial features and inset glass eyes. She is wearing a cream cotton dress. The front panel of the bodice, the front panel of the skirt and the sleeves are all broderie anglaise. The skirt is also decorated with pin tucks. Underneath are a cream cotton petticoat (with holes) and cream cotton ankle-length drawers edged with lace trim. The wax forearms are attached to the cloth upper arms with string threaded through brass eyelets. The same is true of the wax shoulders attached to the cloth body.
