Summary
An inset puzzle on a hardboard and plywood base, with cut out shapes, into which chunky cut out shapes relating to children engaged in different activities, fit. From left to right these are as follows: A yellow house; a girl picking roses; a girl hanging out washing; a nurse offering a drink to a girl in bed; a girl washing the floor; a girl carrying a cake; a girl sweeping up leaves; a dog and a tea party. The puzzle comprises ten pieces but all are kept whole by being shrink-wrapped in transparent plastic.
Marks and inscriptions
Sticker on the back of the puzzle, inside and below a union jack with a puzzle shaped piece detached from it: 'BUY BRITISH/ HELP/ CASTLE GAMES AND TOYS LTD/ PUT BRITAIN BACK TOGETHER'
