Summary
A child's 'Hoover' washing machine with its original cardboard box. Printed on the outside of the box is a picture of girl operating the handle which turns the mangle on the top of the washing machine. There are other views of the machine on different sides of the box. The washing machine itself consists of a white, black and silver coloured metal upright box. On one side is a red plastic bar with the word 'Hoover' written on it in white lettering. On another side of the machine is a metal slot above a metal 'knob' which a separate handle attaches to. There is a mangle with rubber rollers and a corresponding handle on the top of the machine. There is a removable ridged metal plate or washboard. There is a circular metal washer. There is also a detachable rectangular metal tray. Total number of items is 6.
