Summary
A baby's cot toy rod made by Fischerform which would attach to a cot, in its original packaging (circa 1982). It comprises a red plastic rod threaded onto which are two red plastic cubes, each with a hole in each side and attachments. Attached to one side is a red plastic semi-circle with a slit in the middle. On another side is a red plastic right-angled bracket with slots in it. Threaded through the slots is an adjustable tape with a metal clasp. There is a third red plastic cube with holes in each side. There is also a blue plastic ring, from which is suspended, on blue cord, a blue plastic mobile, from which is suspended, on blue cord, two squares of cardboard. One square has a yellow sun with red rays, the other has a yellow and a red arc. The original packaging comprises a long sheet of yellow cardboard folded in half vertically and stapled together, and then folded in half horizontally. On the front it is illustrated with a colour photograph of a baby in its cot looking at the 'Fischerform Fun Focus Mirror' attached to the 'Fischerform Cot Toy Rod'. On the reverse are colour printed illustrations of the blue plastic mobile with the two squares of cardboard described above. Printed on the packaging is 'fischerform. Art.No.30931 8881-GB. Cot Toy Rod For Baby Toys.' Embossed on the toy are 'design Mikael Bjornst Jerna fischer' and 'fischer. Made in Sweden, design Mikael Bjornst Jerna'. Total number of items is 8.
