Summary

A child's Fisher Price white plastic toy telephone (a Chatter Telephone) with original cardboard box (circa 1982). It has blue wheels and a red hand set which is attached to the phone by a black and white cord. A multicoloured number sheet (slightly worn) is under a cream dial. The front of the telephone has two blue and white eyes which rotate in their sockets, a red and cream nose and brown painted mouth. The sides are decorated with blue, green and yellow stars with the initials 'f' and 'p' inset in red and blue circles. Printed in black under the initials is 'Fisher-Price toys'. A yellow plastic string allows the telephone to be pulled along. On dialling, a bell is rung. The telephone comes in a red and blue box with a clear window on the front and s a photograph of a child using the telephone. It is suitable for children 2-6 years. Printed on the side of the box is '747 Chatter Telephone. When pulled, voice says 'chatter-chatter', Eyes roll up and down. Sounds 'ring-a-ling' when dialled. Fisher-Price' and 'copyright 1979 Fisher-Price Toys, East Aurora, N.Y.14052 Division of The Quaker Oats Company Manufactured (in Belgium) by Fisher-Price Toys 3599 Bocholt-Kaullile, Belgium'.
