Summary
A construction toy in the original brown cardboard box in which it was posted and in its original packaging. This packaging is grey cardboard, from which flaps fold down to get at the contents when the green string is undone. On the front of the package is 'Modern Play-craft By Victor Hick' in black print on a shocking pink background. Beneath this is a stylised tree and the publisher's name. The package contains a four page book of instructions directed towards the teacher or parent and 72 cards with instructions for making a variety of objects, some of which involve cutting the cards themselves. The stamps on the box in which the toy was posted are George V and Edward VIII, thus it could be dated about 1937. Total number of items is 75.
