Summary
A painted tinplate toy representing a sausage machine on a tinplate base painted to represent wooden boards. The machine consists of a green painted hopper on four legs, with a large red hand wheel to turn the works. A loop of wooden beads painted to represent sausages emerges from a spout and falls into a brown painted tinplate tub, and returns under the hopper. At the side opposite the hand wheel, a flat painted tinplate man stands. He wears a white hat, a red and white striped shirt, a blue and white butcher's apron, grey trousers and brown boots. He holds the end of the operating shaft so that his arms move when the wheel is turned.
