Summary
A metal model of the Queen's coronation coach with eight horses, four having riders. This is in the original red cardboard box. The white label on the box of the lid has, 'Britains Historical Series', printed in black and red. Beneath this is the Britain's trade mark. To the right is a coloured illustration of a knight in armour with lance, mounted on a horse with an orange and yellow blanket striped on its back. The golden coach has two, large, black, back wheels with two smaller front ones. Inside are seated two metal figures, the Queen and her consort. The eight grey horses all have gold painted strapping with a red saddle and gold blinkers. Four have a rider in red and gold jackets, white trousers, black cap and boots. They are all fixed to the purple lining of the box with thin black wire. The coach has a separate compartment within the box. There is a single sheet of cream paper with instructions for assembling the coach and horses printed in black. Label on side of box reads, 'THE STATE COACH No. 1470 MADE IN ENGLAND' Total number of items is 13.
