Summary
A handmade wooden toy cargo ship (circa 1940 to circa 1950) with cream painted decks and superstructures at the stern, amidships and the bow and a grey hull. It has blue painted portholes on the middle and stern superstructures. A grey funnel with a blue band is at the top at the stern. Painted on both sides of the bow is 'S. S. Chile'. A panel pin at stern and bow represents masts.
Marks and inscriptions
On the portside of the ship: 'STANDARD OIL CO. NEW YORK' On the starboard side of the ship: 'S.O.' At the stern: 'VALPARAISO'
