Summary
A wooden battleship painted green (circa 1940 to circa 1950). It is long and narrow with rounded raised ends. There is a central raised square of wood with a rounded funnel with two rectangular pieces, the smaller on top of the larger. Centrally placed between the raised platform and the rounded ends are two tall rods with two small boat shapes beside one. The top and funnel are painted shiny green with the rest, including the underside, in matt finish green stain. The Wootton Collection was all made by Walter H. Wootton (d.1979), a woodwork teacher.
