Summary
Two model soldiers in their original cardboard box. There are two mounted soldiers wearing black uniforms and riding brown horses. One wears a white plume in his helmet and his right hand is broken off and missing. The other carries a trumpet in his right hand. He has a small red plume in his helmet and his head is broken off, but is present. There is also a piece of cardboard in the box, with holes where the models were originally attached. The cardboard box has a separate lid, and both parts are covered in red paper. A pale green paper label glued to the top of the lid bears the words 'British Soldiers, 6th Dragoon Guards. Carabiniers. Manufactured By W. Britain In London, England. Movable Arms, Copyright Models By Wm Britain, Junr'. This label also bears a regimental coat of arms, a drawing of a mounted soldier, and a list of battle honours. It is signed 'Frank Whistock'. Total number of items is 6.
