Summary
A set of five knuckle bones presumably for playing five stones, jacks or snobs (circa 1879). They come in a lidded blue cardboard box. Handwritten on the box is the word 'Knucklebones'. Printed on the box lid is 'Savon Worth Paris - London 'Je Reviens'. This box is not the original packaging for the knuckle bones. The knucklebones had been in the donor's family for at least 100 years when she gave them to the Trust in 1979. Total number of items is 7.
