Summary
A battledore which consists of a double-sided pear-shaped head covered in skin which is stretched taut over the frame (circa 1882). The edge of the frame is covered in red leather which extends a short way down the handle. The wooden handle is covered in red leather which has a tooled spiral design. A piece of metal is at the end of the handle and probably goes up through the handle.
