Summary
A hollow, toy cardboard Easter egg, covered in red paper. On each half is a printed illustration of the head of a brown and white rabbit with a blue bow around its neck. The inside of each half is lined with green and white printed paper. Around the open edge of one half is a white paper lace effect. Pasted to the inside of the other half is an orange and white label which reads 'Rowntree's Makers to HM the King By Appointment Chocolate'. Also inside the egg is a printed ex-display label which reads 'Edwardian Cardboard Egg contained Rowntree's chocolates'. A loop of red string is attached to the egg enabling it to be hung up. Total number of items is 2.
