Summary
A green painted metal model of an anti aircraft searchlight. The searchlight has steps which indicate the size of the original searchlight (circa 1939-45) from which it was copied. The light is capable of being elevated, depressed and rotated. The bull nosed lens is held in place by a strong spring clip, a length of electrical flex leads to the battery compartment under the base, this has a spring clip, now weakened with use, and a card insulating piece. A circular guard rail surrounds the light on top of the base and on the side a bolt secures a circular disc, red and white painted, which carries the inscription. The 'S' on this logo is part covered by a washer.
