Summary
A wooden rectangular box containing wooden blocks used to make various pictures when lined up correctly. The box is lined with pink paper with a picture on the lid of a curly headed child in pierrot costume with a ruffle at the neckline, cream shirt with red/blue pompoms on the cuffs. He is wearing a large red hat with two feathers and two pompoms on it. Between his hands is a grey cat. The box lid and sides are covered with a grey paper with decorative dull red lines. There is a fastening hook on one side. Inside the box are thirty cubes, making six separate jigsaw pictures. There are five coloured pictures. One depicts a girl in a blue dress sitting in a basket with a brown and white dog beneath an open red umbrella. Picture two has three children with a small boy seated on a large black and white dog. Picture three has a boy and girl astride a log with the boy holding the red lead of a small black and white dog. The boy is blowing a trumpet and the girl is waving a white handkerchief. Picture four, which is very torn, has a girl and boy dancing with another boy seated on a tree stump playing a squeeze box. The fifth picture is of two girls on the ice, one, in blue, is seated on a chair sledge with the other one in red and white, facing her, and holding on to the chair. Total number of items is 37.
