Summary
A small, rectangular, brown cardboard suitcase with a brown metal handle and brown metal reinforced corners. It has a metal lock and clasp. The interior is lined with a cream, beige and green patterned paper, which is stained and torn. There are thirty-four printed cardboard animals contained inside the suitcase. The thirty-four colour printed cardboard animals all have jointed legs and heads, some of the animals have jointed tails. The name of the animal is printed on the reverse of each. Also printed on the reverse is 'Raphael Tuck and Sons Ltd. London-Paris-Berlin New York-Montreal. Publishers to Their Majesties the King and Queen and T.R.H. the Prince and Princess of Wales. DESIGNED IN ENGLAND AND PRINTED IN GERMANY'. A stamp reads 'Patented in ENGLAND FRANCE GERMANY AMERICA'. On the back of each animal is a separate number. The cardboard animals include six dogs, one cat, two horses and a donkey, a goat, a pig, a cow, a rabbit, a sheep, a deer, a wolf and fox, a squirrel, a owl, a pheasant, a goose, a jay, a pigeon, two parrots, a lion, a zebra, a kangaroo, a monkey, a polar bear, a leopard, a elephant and a rhinoceros. Some of the animals have loose or missing limbs. Total number of items is 35.
