Summary
A constructional toy in its original box. Inside the box are 42 interlocking wooden boards or planks with slots cut out of them, enabling them to interlock. These boards vary in length and shape. There is also a colour printed leaflet which includes printed diagrams of buildings that could be constructed from Richter's Anchor blocks. Above these diagrams is printed 'Designs for Architectural Models of the Anchor Box No. 0A Dr. Richter's Publishing Office, 1, Railway Place, London E.C'. On the other side is printed text in German, French and English. There is also a green paper bound (plastic coated) Richter's booklet entitled 'First drawing-sheet to the Patent - Building - Brick - Boxes No.18.' It contains colour printed illustrations of buildings constructed with the blocks. The box is rectangular and wooden. It would originally have had a slide off wooden lid which is now missing. Total number of items is 47.
