Summary
A battledore which has a double sided pear shaped head covered in vellum which is stretched taut over the frame (circa 1900). The edge of the head has a light brown tooled leather edging and a triangular piece of leather at the base of the head. The wooden handle is covered in the same leather and has a similar tooled design. On one side of the bat the vellum is slightly torn. A piece of metal at the base of the handle would appear to go through the handle.
