Summary
A rectangular wood and cardboard box with a removable lid. The lid and the sides of the box are covered in colour printed paper. Printed on the lid is 'NINE-PIN ABC AND SPELLING BLOCKS COPYRIGHTED BY McLOUGHLIN BROTHERS NEW-YORK. The box contains nine wooden ninepins covered in colour printed paper. The head of the kingpin is broken off. On one side of it is a king's head wearing a crown, on the other side is printed the word KING above a crown. On each side of the eight remaining pins are three letters. A display label enclosed in the box reads 'ABC Ninepins, American c.1880'. Total number of items is 12.
