Summary
A kaleidoscope, the body of which is covered with dark brown paper with a small darker brown pattern, slightly damaged in places. The eye piece is metal, as is the object piece, however, the object piece looks as if it has come adrift at some time. The kaleidoscope contains coloured fragments of glass and mirrors, and functions separately when rotated.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Miss W. Good in July 1972.
