Summary
A wooden toy horse, possibly made by the company 'Sevi' at Ortisei in Italy (circa 1918). The company were founded in 1831 and is still in production. It is painted cream with a black mane and tail, marked out with carved lines. The reins are painted black with white spots and the saddle is painted red with two blue flowers, green leaves and a blue border. The horse's eyebrows, nostrils and mouth are painted red. The hooves of the horse are black. The horse has some cracks and chips and the cream paint has become black in places.
