Summary
A pink plastic 'Tummy Tub' stand (2006) which converts into a toddler stool after it is no longer needed as a stand (after 6 months). The stand has a removable lid and this allows the Tummy Tub to be slotted into the stand to raise up the Tummy Tub to a more comfortable position for the person bathing the baby. It has four bright pink flat feet, with one having a warning sticker on it. It is connected to a pale pink four legs, with two having push mechanisms, which allow the bright pink flower patterned top to be higher or lower on the base. With a two tone pink lid, which has an inner circle embossed with circles, with the outside having 'UP TO 50 Kg/ 110 LB' embossed and a 'Kids Kit' sticker. This lid is removable to allow the tub to be attached and can be placed on top of tub as another lid. The 'Tummy Tub' promotion on their website reads 'The new concept in bathing babies up to 6 months. The benefits of the TummyTub are acknowledged in maternity hospitals and homes throughout Europe. Endorsed by doctors, midwives and health visitors.'. It is designed so that the baby can be bathed in foetal position and designed to calm the baby through total immersion in water. Bought for and used by the donor's baby daughter (Kathryn, born 2006)
