Summary
A doll's house sized plastic, rectangular sink unit (contents of 1970s doll's house, inventory number - 663517). It has two white cupboard doors, one on the left, the other on the right, with a single red drawer above each door. The cupboard and drawers all open and have an embossed handle on them, which clicks closed when they are shut. On top is a silver painted sink top, a sink in the centre, with a small tap above and two draining boards, one each side.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Joyce Howard-Monks in 2010. Part of the contents of the ‘Hobbies’ doll’s house – inventory number 663517 - made by the donor’s father, Ronald Graham (b.1902), for his two grandchildren Lynn Pick (b.1964) and Dawn Lawton (b.1966).
