Summary
Two slide viewers / optical toys made of brown plastic, one in its original box and the other in a tin with slides. Both of the optical viewers are made by ‘View-Master’ and have silver plastic decoration and clear plastic eye pieces. On one side is a white plastic handle which controls the interior mechanism. At the top is a large slit in which to insert the round discs of slides. On the back is embossed 'VIEW - MASTER' and details of its manufacture and patent. One viewer is in its original box, a cardboard box in two pieces. The base is black and white while the lid is red and white. The top of the lid reads 'VIEW - MASTER 3 -Dimension VIEWER'. The other viewer is kept in a metal tin decorated with pictures of flowers and pottery on shelves. Accompanying the viewers are six round slide discs made of white plastic-coated card, each containing 14 slides. Total number of items is 11.
