Summary
A miniature composition 'baby' doll with moving arms and legs. The doll is painted 'white skin colour' and the hair is painted on, as are the blue eyes and red lips. The mouth is open, leaving a small hole into the doll's head. The doll is wearing a white, with blue stitching, piece of fabric wrapped around the doll and held in place by a pink linen 'dress'. The dress is decorated with pink chiffon type fabric and held with pink string. Both garments look handmade. The doll is in good condition, though one elbow is slightly scuffed.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Iris Field in December 2009.
