Summary
A tinplate model baby's pram (1927-1928).This is a deep old fashioned pram; the sides are painted red with four gold vertical lines. The two ends and base are painted black with a three fold black hood with gold coloured struts. There are four black coloured wheels on metal axles. A single piece of wire slotted through the front of the pram forms a handle. Inside are two brown coloured square metal seats. The pram is in good condition with some slight scratching of the paint and scuffing of the wheels. The pram is accompanied by a copy of a black and white photo of the previous owner when a little girl, unfortunately holding a teddy rather than the pram.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Iris Field in December 2009.
