Summary
A 1960's plastic Tressy doll with moving arms, legs and head, and 'growing' hair. She has painted pink lips, blue and white eyes and brown eyelashes and eyebrows. Her hair is shoulder length blonde with a small ring on the crown of her head where the hair 'grows' from. A device in the middle of her back allows the hair to grow. The doll also comes with a support stand made of a white plastic base, a metal rod and white plastic waist support. The words 'Tressy' and 'palitoy' are embossed on the base. The doll is wearing a pair of white cotton ribbed pants with 'lacy' edging. On top of this she wears a 'winter sports' outfit comprising a pair of stretchy purple legging-type trousers and a white jumper with blue and red patterning which fastens up the back. The collar, cuffs and waist band are plain white and the jumper is fastened with three press-studs. Two shiny opalescent opaque buttons are stitched at the top and bottom of the fastening. The trousers show signs of repair, with hand-stitching around the ankles and waist in blue thread. Total number of items is 2.
