Summary
A child's 'AFS' helmet made of steel dating from 1940's, possibly homemade. The helmet has fabric around the rim of the helmet. There is 'corrugated' markings which have then been painted along the edges of the helmet with a cord/string attached at either side to keep the helmet on the users head. There is also a 'transfer' sticker on the front of the helmet reading 'London AFS' in white and red.
