Summary
A rectangular cream sheet of paper on which is printed and handwritten in black ink the following 'Eagle Oil And Shipping Company Limited. Apprentice's Indenture, This Indenture, made the 7TH day of September 1944 Between James, William, Ronald, Brown born the 12TH day of May 1927, a native of Glasgow in the County of Lanarkshire now residing at 'Greenways', Station Road, Altofts, Normanton Yorks'. The indenture continues binding James Brown to be an apprentice to the Eagle Oil and Shipping Company Ltd for 2 years and 10 months. The indenture is signed by James Brown and Robert Brown; by the Director and Secretary of the above company; the Headmaster of the Hull Nautical School and a Schoolmaster, Mr. Jones.
