Summary
A large Merrythought bear who is covered in light brown fur fabric. He has brown safety eyes, an embroidered nose and mouth (in brown thread) and brown felt pads on his paws. The 'hand' pads are very worn, with lots of holes and repairs, particularly the left one. He is jointed at the shoulders and hips and has a swivel head. It is possible to feel the shape of a 'growler' in his tummy. Sewn to the base of his left foot is a white ribbon label which reads 'Merrythought Hygienic Toys, Made in England' According to the back of a photograph which came with the bear, his name is 'Stirchley'. Total number of items is 2.
