Summary
A croquet outfit for either Skipper (Barbie's little sister) or Skooter (Skipper's friend). It consists of a jacket, shirt, and pair of trousers, sleeveless top, shoes, and croquet equipment. The double-breasted, long-sleeved jacket is blue with a collar, six green buttons and very narrow green braid between the pairs of buttons and marking the tops of the 'pockets'. The matching trousers are folded, making it difficult to see any details. The short-sleeved shirt is mainly green, with brown and blue in the check pattern and two tiny green buttons down the front. The sleeveless top is blue with an embroidered design of flowers, a large red heart and two white birds. The shoes are flat and made from blue plastic. The croquet equipment consists of a wooden mallet with blue painted stripes, a wooden ball with a blue stripe round the centre, a 'peg' with red and blue stripes and two metal hoops. There is also a small colour-printed booklet which presumably shows other outfits available. The packaging consists of a sheet of colour-printed cardboard which has been turned over at the edges to resemble a picture frame. The clothing and accessories are stitched to another sheet of cardboard within this frame. This has then been covered in clear plastic. Printed on the back are line drawings of the two dolls and an advertisement for the range of outfits for them. Printed on each edge of the 'frame' is 'JUNIOR FASHIONS FOR Skipper & Skooter'.
