Summary
A baby congratulations card with a background of pink and blue. The right hand side and the bottom side have a wavy-cut edging to enable a silver embossed edging to be seen. In the top left corner are red and blue flowers with green leaves. Underneath this is a blue bow and ribbon. Below this is a baby in a cradle which has a white and pink blanket and a silver embossed head-board. The baby is wearing white and pink clothing and has blue eyes and blonde. In bed and surrounding the cradle are bunches of pink, blue and white flowers with green leaves. The bottom left hand corner has a blue bow and ribbon, a similar one can too be soon to the right hand side of the cradle. In the top right in printed black ink reading: 'Best Wishes to You and Baby'. Central on the inside of the card is an 8 line verse printed in black ink. Surrounding this are scattered white flowers with green leaves on a pink and white background. The left hand corner has an extended blue bow and ribbon. On the right hand side is a baby's silver rattle with a blue bow attached next to a string of multi-coloured beads. There is a personal inscription handwritten in black ink. The card has been constructed using an A4 sized piece of card which has been folded and glued to make an A6 size card. Inserted into the front cover is a leaf-embossed piece of silver foil which has been glued in.
