Summary
A baby ‘congratulations’ card. The front of the card has a light blue background. In the bottom left hand corner there is a patch of grass in green printed ink on which sit two lambs of white printed ink. Above the lambs is a wreath of purple, pink and yellow flowers and green leaves combined with glitter detailing. In the middle of the wreath is a baby reclining on a white pillow. The baby is wearing blue and white clothing, and has bright blue eyes and blonde hair. Around the white pillow is blue ribbon with bows and green printed ink lacing. The top of the card depicts a branch of a tree with pink flowers and green leaves upon which two blue and green birds are sat. The right hand side of the card has been cut out into a curved edge. The bottom right hand corner it says 'Congratulations and loving wishes to happy Parents and Baby', this is in printed blue ink. The inside of the card is predominantly white. However, down the right hand side is a band of pink which has a dark pink and green floral pattern over the top. On the left hand side there is another patch of grass upon which is an ink printed white lamb and an ink printed brown rabbit. In the centre of the card is an eight line verse written in printed blue ink. There is a personal inscription on the right hand side of the inside of the card. The card has been constructed using an A4 sized piece of card which has been folded to make an A6 size card.
