Summary
An oval, silver-plated trinket box containing four silver-plated 'stars', each moulded with a 'wish' for a new baby, all packed inside a two-part gift box. The box, made from thin wood covered with paper, has a brown base into which fits the lid which is cream. The lid has a brown ribbon attached at the sides and tied in a bow on the top. A silver-coloured metal 'label' revealed through a rectangular hole in the lid reads 'famiglia'. The trinket box is made from silver-coloured metal (silver-plated) and lined with 'suede-effect' brown cotton fabric. Moulded into the sides of the box is 'Make a wish' four times, each separated by a stylised heart motif. This motif is repeated on the slightly domed lid. Inside the box are four solid, star-shaped objects, each with a 'wish' moulded in its top - 'Healthy life', 'Happy life', 'Long life' and 'Prosperous life'. On the base of each is a small circle of brown felt. Total number of items is 8.
