Summary
A felt jigsaw-type puzzle (circa 2007) forming a butterfly shape, whose pieces are fitted together on a fabric-covered backing by means of velcro discs. The backing consists of two pieces of peach-coloured polycotton with a stiff layer of polyester wadding sandwiched between the two. Embroidered on the top piece in blue are the outlines of the whole butterfly and the component pieces, each of which has a small velcro circle at the centre. Each piece of the 'jigsaw' is made from coloured felt, appliquéd with shapes of contrasting felt - the wings are red with green and yellow shapes and blue with green, yellow and pink shapes, the body is green on a yellow background. The head has antennae made from gold-coloured metallic braid. The packaging consists of a colour-printed cardboard envelope which has a large window of clear plastic in the front, along with 'PUZZLE FUN' printed in red. On the back are illustrations of all the puzzles in the series. Total number of items is 2.
