Summary
A soft toy dragon manufactured by John Crane Limited that incorporates many textures and sounds to stimulate the senses of a baby or a child with special needs (circa 2007). He is mainly made from lime green polyester plush fabric with red and yellow striped satiny fabric on his front, under his ears and along the underside of his tail. His facial features are embroidered in black, white and orange. The tops of his ears are made from purple plush fabric, the sole of one foot is yellow and the other is turquoise. His wings are made in stripes of yellow, orange, red and turquoise plush and incorporate a layer of plastic which causes a crackly sound when handled. There is a similar layer inside his ears and the 'spines' on his head and back. The latter are made from pale blue satiny fabric and orange matt fabric with red spots. His tail is tipped with a purple plush triangular shape, embroidered with orange flowers, which contains a spherical bell. He is stuffed with an unknown substance which includes beanie-toy plastic pellets in the base of his body to enable him to sit. He has several spots embroidered over the green parts of his body, some tiny and larger ones which have stars and spots embroidered inside. On each foot are three plush claws, all different colours. On his right foot is a purple plush pocket which is embroidered in orange with 'flower' and contains a yellow and orange daisy with white petals. This can be taken out but is attached to the foot's seam by a short piece of yellow binding. On his left foot is a circular 'door' made from yellow plush which is embroidered in red with 'peek-a-boo' and fastens with velcro and a red plush tab embroidered with a yellow star. The 'door' can be opened to reveal a plastic 'mirror' bordered in purple plush. A plush butterfly, with a purple body and head and yellow wings embroidered with red stars, whose face is embroidered in yellow and white, is attached to the dragon's front with velcro and secured to the left side seam with a short piece of orange binding. Sewn to the palm of his right hand is a turquoise circle bordered in red and embroidered in purple with 'squeak'. When his hand is pressed, a squeaker emits the appropriate sound. On his left palm is an orange circle bordered in orange and embroidered in purple with 'rattle'. When his hand is shaken, a rattling sound is heard.
