Summary
A child's bow and arrows set made from untreated wood (2007). The string is fairly coarse and attached by tying at notched points near the ends of the bow. Similar string is used to tie the hessian hand grip to the bow. There are two arrows - each consists of a length of dowel with a clear rubber sucker as the arrowhead. There are two paper labels attached to the set with a rubber band. These contain historical, safety and manufacturer's information. Total number of items is 3.
Provenance
Purchased for the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Sue J. Fraser (Collections Assistant) in July 2007.
