Summary
A doll's eiderdown (circa 1962), made from white cotton fabric, patterned in pink and green with flowers and circles. It has rows of quilting forming concentric rectangles and a border of white lace. Stitched into one edge seam are the remains of the manufacturer's label. The eiderdown was given to the donor as a Christmas present and originally had a matching pillow, which is now missing.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Miss Carolyn Aldridge in July 2007.
