Summary
A pair of child's grey lederhosen (leather shorts) with braces and green leather trims. The shorts have a green trimmed flap to cover the buttoned fly; two cotton lined front pockets and a small patch pocket on the right leg. There are green leather laces on the outside of the legs and a grey lace tightens up the centre back. The beige, plastic buttons are sewn on with leather strips and there is cream petersham inside the waist. The straps of the felt, lined braces button on to the shorts and are adjustable via buckles at the front. Between the two front straps is a shaped piece of lined leather which has a decorative circle cut-away. Showing through this is a piece of green felt embroidered with a coloured stag's head in a white u-shape. This is an item of national costume. Total number of items is 4.
