Summary
A kit for making plaster cast moulds of the Beatrix Potter figure ‘Jeremy Fisher’ in the original box (circa 1982). The red rectangular cardboard box has an oval hole in the front. Inside this is a piece of detachable card illustrated with a colour photograph of Jeremy Fisher (a frog wearing clothes from the Beatrix Potter books). On the box is blue and white logo reading 'PLASTERCASTERS'. This is repeated around the top edge. On the lid and the back is a logo with the writing 'PUCK TOYS' and an image of a fairy or elf in blue. The address and manufacturer is also given on the back of the box. Inside the box is a sealed plastic bag containing plaster of Paris, a yellow rubber mould which has become crumpled, a paintbrush with a blue handle, an instruction booklet with six folded pages with step by step instructions and illustrations printed in brown ink, a piece of paper with the painting instructions and a 'PAINT PALETTE' a piece of cardboard with five small round plastic tubs containing yellow, green and black paint on one side and red and white paint on the other. In the centre, on the cardboard is the Puck Toys logo and writing about the paints in red ink. May well have been used to produce the models in record number 663001. Total number of items is 8.
