Summary
An early 20th century (circa 1910) mahogany 'Bergere' style rocking chair with a webbed cane seat and back rest. The front legs and front stretcher are turned. Each chair back upright and back leg are fashioned from a single piece of wood. The top rail curves downwards and ends in a scroll at either side. Each arm is an elongated 'S' shape. Between the front and back legs are two pairs of plain stretchers. There is a single plain stretcher between the two back legs.
