Summary
A folding wall chart printed on both sides. It is a supplement to a magazine entitled 'Child Education' (September 1935 Vol 12 Number 11) The front cover is in black print on a cream ground with 'Child Education' across the top. Below this is a picture of a child with a dog and below this a building like a Greek temple. On either side of this on the left and right are groups of children surrounding a seated woman. On the right she touches a globe and on the left she holds a book. When the chart is unfolded, on one side is an outline drawing of a cow and calf, below the drawing is printed 'suggestions for making these models in wood are given inside this issue.' Above it is printed 'More Animal Outlines by Alec Buckles.' On the other side of the chart are four coloured prints. First 'Robin Hood' depicting Robin standing talking to three men who are seated, one holding a stringed instrument. The second, 'Curly locks, curly locks, wilt thou be mine' depicts a girl in a pink dress seated with a flower and a boy dressed in blue, holding a hat and leaning on a fence. The third, 'The goose girl' depicts a young man with baskets on either arm and a bundle of sticks on his back. Seated on the sticks is an old woman in a cloak brandishing a stick. The fourth, 'The princess and the frog' depicts a girl in a long blue dress and a pink cloak, wearing a crown crouched beside a pond in a wood. The pond has a fountain and the head of a frog with its hands clasping a golden ball. All the pictures are signed by Nina K Brisley.
