Summary
Eight unfolded wrappings of French sugar cubes arranged on a sheet of paper and framed. Each wrapping has an image of a different French building/landmark, e.g. the Eiffel Tower. In the centre of the eight wrappings is a piece of green and white cardboard rather like a tea-bag tag with a picture of an elephant on it. Printed on this tag is Cello Tiboll The Elephant, Elephant Vert'. The collage is glazed and framed by four interlocking pieces of wood decorated with a gold coloured metal cross on each corner. There are two metal eyelets on the reverse threaded with string, for hanging the collage up.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs K Hill in 1987.
