Summary
A framed coloured chalk/ pastel drawing entitled 'Lady and Child'. It shows a lady with dark hair wearing a white bonnet and black bodice with a large white collar. The woman is seated on a chair with a scroll decoration on the right hand side. In her right hand she holds a white handkerchief, in her left she holds the right hand of a little girl leaning against her. The child supports her face with her left hand, her eyes looking upwards towards the left. The picture framers label is stuck on the reverse of the picture.
